The original YG8 cemented carbide turning tool, tool geometric parameters g0=15°~18°, a0=6°~8°, kr=75°, ls=-5°~-8°; cutting amount is Vc=28 m /min, ap=0.3~0.5 mm, f=0.16mm/r, 28 turning tools need to be sharpened for one tool, and the tool marks on the surface of the workpiece are very obvious. Later, the YG8N hard alloy turning tool was used. Except that the cutting speed was increased to 42.4m/min, other conditions were the same. For precision turning of an outer circle, only 5 times of sharpening were required. The workpiece surface roughness Ra was 3.2μm, and the tool was connected. The marks are not obvious.

Originally used YG8 cemented carbide, Vc=10 m/min, f=2.5 mm/r, ap=0.3~0.4 mm, and the tool cannot be machined at one time by sharpening. Using 813 cemented carbide, under the condition of Vc=36 m/min, more than two pieces can be processed, and the efficiency and tool durability can be increased by more than twice.

3. Milling: The workpiece material is Cr17Ni2, the milling plane, the cutting amount is Vc=90~100 m/min, ap=3~4 mm, af=0.15 mm/z. The tool is an indexable end mill, the tool material is YW4, and the tool geometry parameters are g0=5°, a0=8°, kr=75°, and ls=5°. The tool durability is 41 min.
4. Boring: The workpiece material is 1Cr18Ni9Ti, and the tool material is YG6 and YG10H cemented carbide. The geometric parameters of the tool are g0=20°, a0=8°, kr=75°, ls=-3°. Cutting rate is Vc=20 m/min, ap=3 mm, f=0.32mm/r. Under the same conditions, the tool durability of YG6 is 15 min, and the tool is stuck with continuous chips, and the tool durability of YG10H is 60 min, and the cutting quality is good.

The cost of machining an end face is 5-6 yuan, and the efficiency is low, and the tool is changed constantly and the tool is set. It's crazy.
Analysis: Although the original blade material is also suitable for stainless steel processing, and is regarded as a very good classic product in general-purpose CNC blades, this blade has been out for more than 10 years and is a general-purpose material. It is not designed exclusively for stainless steel.
